“Mapes Vitals VIII”. Oil painting on linen canvas, from the “Vital Maps” collection, 90 × 90 cm. Burgundy and yellow centres gather along one side and at the bottom, facing a large pale grey area. This contrast between density and open space evokes a landscape taking shape, balanced between intimacy and expansion.
